of your time.
Baked Sweet Potatoes
Wash the sweet potatoes clean and poke holes at different sides using
a fork. Don’t peel the potatoes and wrap it in foil as it is. The oven
must have a temperature of 400 degree before you put in the potatoes.
You will know when the potatoes are done if it is already soft, usually
30 to 40 minutes. Remove the skin and take the “meat” once it is cooled.
You may add milk or water to thin the potatoes.
Apple too can be an excellent source of nutrients for your baby. Why not
try creating your own apple sauce instead of buying commercial apple
sauce that comes in a jar.
Homemade Apple Sauce
This can be served to babies as early as 4 months old
What you need:
Peel the apples and the take the core. Chop it in small pieces then
put it in a saucepan. Pour the water slowly to the saucepan. You may
also use apple juice instead. Once the mixture is already boiling,
reduce the heat. Cover the saucepan and let it slowly simmer until the
small chunks of apple are already tender. It usually takes only about
ten to fifteen minutes. Don’t overcook the applesauce. It would become
watery as well as tasteless.
